Working together, Youth Board members lead and support events, initiatives, and projects designed by youth, for youth, helping to create a stronger, more inclusive, and connected community for local rangatahi.
Children’s and Student Panels
Youth Panels has evolved into Youth Voice, bringing a fresh approach to youth engagement while maintaining its commitment to ensuring rangatahi are heard. Youth Voice will offer new opportunities for young people to share their perspectives, contribute ideas, and help shape the future of their community. While the format may look a little different, the focus remains the same – empowering youth to have a meaningful voice on the issues that matter most to them.
Working in partnership with our Local Board, Youth Voice creates meaningful opportunities for young people to engage, collaborate, and influence positive change.
In the past, Youth Panel topics have included Pest Free Kaipātiki, Youth Health, Public Transport, Community Safety, Water Safety, and A Connected Kaipātiki.
