Kaipātiki Explorer

Smiths Bush

The main entrance is near the cricket clubrooms, off Northcote Road, from where you head east along the track (150m) to reach the start of a loop nature trail.

The nature trail is an elevated boardwalk which is easy walking, and helps protect regenerating native plants.

There are some very large puriri trees in the centre of the bush which are well worth seeing.

Please stay on the boardwalk and keep dogs on a lead.
