Youth Health Clinic
We offer a free general Youth Health Clinic to young people aged 12 - 24 years at our Glenfield Youth Hub. This is a great chance to have a health check by a health professional or talk to someone who understands young people.
Some reasons young people come to see us:
- Worried and want to talk about your health
- Just want information
- Need to check out a concern you have about a health issue
- Sexual Health, STI checks, pregnancy tests
- Contraception, depo, oral contraception, Jadelle, IUD
- Gender affirming healthcare
- Physical Health
- Medications
- Alcohol and Drugs
CHOICES to Wellbeing Programme
Primary Mental Health Services offers counselling and mentoring through the CHOICES to Wellbeing Programme, providing early intervention for young people with mild to moderate mental health concerns. This support can include a counsellor, Mental Health Clinician, Youth Development Worker, or Mentor.
If you need any of the above, then our services may be right for you as long as you fit our criteria – aged 12 to 24 years old and living within the Waitematā catchment area – Waitakere, Rodney, or North Shore.
