Connecting with our tamariki and rangatahi on their journey back to school!

KCFT Attendance Services works with schools to identify at risk students who have a high level of absences. We then work with their family/whānau to build solutions that provide on-going support and encouragement to help those students achieve more positive outcomes from their learning journey.

KCFT Attendance Services Navigators assist tamariki and rangatahi with:

• The direct support they need to get back into school,
  or alternative education
• Strong community support networks
• Plans and strategies to increase school attendance 
• Employment programmes for older rangatahi

Attending school is important. Every day counts towards a child’s learning and impacts greatly on their future success in life.
